Muscovites choose the president less willingly than four years ago
In Moscow, the presidential elections were recognized as held, said the chairman of the Moscow City City Commission Valentin Gorbunov. According to the data at 18:00 Moscow time, 52.48% of voters voted in the elections, which is 1.66% higher compared to the past Duma elections on December 7, 2003. At the same time, compared with the 2000 presidential elections, the turnout was 3.2% lower. Then 55.7% of voters appeared at polling stations, ITAR-TASS reports.
