Cuba was struck by the strongest drought over the past decade
The most powerful drought has come in Cuba over the past ten years, since the beginning of the year there has been almost a single rain, RIA Novosti reports. “Over the past 10 years, Cuba has been subjected to the strongest drought,” said Cuban Laga, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of Cuba, who makes a trip to the most arid regions of the country. “Olgin, Kamagai and Las Tunas are considered the most affected provinces. There was no such strong drought for the last 43 years,” added Laga.
