In Kyrgyzstan, the search for climbers who fell into an avalanche was suspended
Due to the threat of avalanches in the Khan-Tengri peak area (Issyk-Kul region, North of Kyrgyzstan), where on August 5, a group of climbers covered the avalanche, Russian rescuers cannot yet begin rescue work. According to Emil Akmatov, a press secretary of the EMERCOM of Kyrgyzstan on Saturday, the rescuers are currently in Karakol. In the area of the Khan-Tengri peak on Saturday morning, three avalanches came off, and the threat of re-gathering is currently preserved.
