In France, the first case of the disease "cow's rabies" in small cattle was revealed
The world's first case of small cattle disease "cow rabies" was revealed in France, the European Commission said. The virus of this disease, also known as "spongy encephalopathy", previously striking only cattle, was discovered by a scored goat, Interfax reports. Nevertheless, according to experts, this is not a danger to consumers. "The security measures acting in the EU guarantee a very high degree of protection," said EC Marcos Cyprian, responsible for health care issues.
