A year ago, the former head of the Archival Department of the KGB Vasily Mitrokhin, who has lived in the UK, died in London. Back in 1992, when fleeing England, Colonel Vasily Mitrokhin took with him a huge number of secret documents. He worked in the Archive of the KGB of the USSR for 12 years, chose the most interesting, in his opinion, things and copied them, and then carried them out of the archive, hiding in boots, socks and trousers.
