South African athlete faster Gibraltar swam
The famous South African swimmer-marathon Karina Brover established a world achievement for women by the speed of overcoming the swim of the Gibraltar Strait. 16 kilometers of troubled waters separating Africa from Europe, she overcame in 3 hours and 35 minutes, having broken the former record of the Indian Bula Chowdhuri for two minutes, set in 2000. The 25-year-old bruver is from Cape Taun, ITAR-TASS reports. She is an amateur athlete, a flutist by profession, also leads her own music agency.
