As a result of the collision of two tankers off the western coast of the Japanese Island, Honsu, one person died and five were missing. According to the representative of the coast guard department, the incident occurred at 04:10 local time near the city of Kumano Prefecture MIE. In conditions of poor visibility caused by the fog, the maneuvering tanker rammed another smaller tanker on which the fire arose, to date, extinguished.
