Rambus sued NVIDIA for violation of 17 patents
Rambus filed a lawsuit in the California (USA) court for NVIDIA for violation of 17 patents. Rambus is engaged in memory production, reports Business Wire . According to Rambus representatives, Nvidia in its chipsets, graphic processors and other devices violated the rights to patents. We are talking about the technology for producing memory of SDR, DDR, DDR2, DDR3, GDDR, and GDDR3 SDRAM. Rambus requires to stop the use of its patents and compensate for the damage caused.
