The ex-commander of Alfa after the detention in Austria returned to Moscow
The ex-commander of the Alpha group, Colonel of the KGB reserve Mikhail Golovatov, who, on the eve of Lithuania, was detained in Austria at the request of Lithuania, returned to Moscow. Golovatov himself reported this by RIA Novosti on Saturday morning. “I'm all right, I returned to Moscow late at night. I'm fine, now I'm resting,” said Golovatov. According to him, the Austrian authorities perfectly understand what happened on January 13, 1991 near the television tower in Vilnius.
