Several hundred people attacked the police station in the commune of the Department of Ivelyn in a suburb of Paris: the police detained the woman and her husband, and intended to write out a fine for wearing a burqa. About 250 people, who literally besieged the police prefecture, took part in the riots. The building and the adjacent territory were caused significant damage.
