The President of the United States of Barack Obama, after the end of the Summit of the "Big Seven" in Brussels, in a sense, spoke in support of Russia's position in Ukraine, namely, it recognized that the Russian Federation may have "legal interest" to what is happening in a neighboring country. "Russia has a legitimate interest in what is happening in Ukraine, based on the presence of a common border and historical ties," ITAR -TASS quoted the American leader.
