The number of victims of the landslide, which went on Wednesday in the Central state of Maharashrt in India, reached 82 people, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the NDTV television channel. Earlier it was reported about 73 dead. A few dozens of people can remain under the rubble. Local authorities say that such an incident due to rains can occur in 17 other settlements. Many residents of the village, where the landslide set off, left their homes, fearing a repetition of the tragedy.
