Russia took 40th place in the top 50 Internet-power
Russia took 40th place in the Digital Evolution Index ( Dei ) ranking, characterizing the readiness of states for an increase in the number of Internet users. The rating was compiled by the end of 2013 by the Fletcher Law and Diplomacy School at the University of Tafts together with MasterCard and Datacash. Russia lost in the ranking of Thailand, Brazil, China, Mexico, Turkey, South Africa and Chile, but bypassed Greece, Hungary, Vietnam and Indonesia, reports CNews .
