After the victory of the Ukrainian singer Jamala at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm and Ukraine receiving the right to hold a competition in 2017, the Eurovision Song Contesting Committee-2017, led by the National Television Company of Ukraine, should be called a city that will accept this international song competition. In total, six cities were submitted for participation in the competition: Kiev, Odessa, Dnieper ( formerly Dnepropetrovsk ), Lviv, Kharkov and Kherson.
