Andrey Illarionov: “In terms of GDP growth, Russia today ranks 163rd in the world out of 190 countries”
“Over the past 8 years (2008-2016), global GDP has grown by 30%. In three countries (Nauru, Ethiopia, Turkmenistan) it more than doubled. In another eight countries (China, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe, Qatar, Laos, Afghanistan, India, Rwanda), GDP growth rates over 8 years were such that, if maintained for a decade, the size of their national economies would double during this time.
