American sailors saved two girls who drifted on a yacht in the Pacific Ocean
American sailors saved two girls in the Pacific Ocean, who spent five months on a drifting yacht. Together with them, a couple of their dogs were raised from the yacht to the side of the military ship, according to the US fleet website. US citizens Jennifer Appel and Tasha Fuyaba sailed from Gonolulu (Hawaii) to the island of Tahiti this spring, taking two dogs with them. On May 30, their yacht engine broke during the storm, but the girls continued to swim, hoping to get to land soon.
