A bust of military pilot Roman Filipov, who died in Syria, was unveiled on Friday, June 15, in the city of Voronezh. The monument was erected near school N85, where Filipov studied, RIA Novosti reports. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Federation Council, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Youth Army members, Suvorov cadets, cadets of the Air Force Academy, teachers and students of School No. 85, the pilot’s relatives and ordinary Voronezh residents.
