Attendance at 2018 World Cup stadiums was 98%
The International Football Federation (FIFA) is celebrating almost 100 percent attendance at the 2018 World Cup matches in Russia, FIFA's director of competitions and events, Colin Smith, said on Wednesday in Moscow at the international Economics of Football conference. “Attendance was 98%, all stadiums are full, and this will continue until the end of the competition. The bulk of the fans were, of course, Russians; among foreigners, fans from the USA, Germany and Brazil are in the lead.
