The Yaroslavl Regional Court on Friday, October 26, rejected the complaint of the lawyers of former prisoner Yevgeny Makarov, who was subjected to torture, to establish administrative supervision over him after his release. TASS reports this. “The decision of the Zavolzhsky District Court is left unchanged, the complaint is not satisfied,” said the chairman of the judicial panel, Elena Shchegolkova. Makarov’s lawyer, Irina Biryukova, said that she intends to appeal the court’s decision.
