In Latvia, the laureate of the Cannes, Venice and Berlin film festivals, director Kim Ki Duk, died from the coronavirus infection, Delfi reports. The 59-year-old director came to Latvia on November 20 from St. Petersburg through Estonia. Since December 5, he did not get in touch, said the director of Artdocfest/Riga Vitaly Mansky. On Friday, information was received that the director died of complications at Covid-19. He died at 1:20 December 11, reports TASS.
