Microsoft develops its own ARM processors for servers and Surface devices
Microsoft is developing its own processors on ARM architecture, which are planned to be used in Azure cloud platform servers. Also, these chips can begin to equip future devices of the Surface line, but the final decision on this issue has not yet been made, Bloomberg reports. As The Verge recalls, now Microsoft mainly uses Intel chips, but collaborates with AMD and Qualcomm, the processors of which are installed on some Surface devices.
