Gref: I don’t know about Khodorkovsky’s oil theft
The head of the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation, German Gref, who was called as a witness in the case of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev, said that he was not aware of the theft of 350 million tons of oil, which the ex-head of Yukos is accused of. According to Gref, who in 1998 held the post of First Deputy Minister of State Property, if the theft had taken place, he would have known this fact.
