The intellectuals are not inclined to celebrate "royal days" and namesakes. But this date, February 1, we will celebrate. Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin was born 80 years ago. No magicians could reach his hungry distant land. They were not given a visa. And the star was hidden by pitch clouds: 1931, a dispossession. But it was Yeltsin who laid the foundation for a new chronology - since August 1991, he decorated the first and, most likely, the last reformist tree in our life.
