Venezuela is waiting for new presidential elections
After the death of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, according to the Constitution of the country, new presidential elections should be held within 30 days. Analysts call the main candidates the official successor of Chavez Vice President Nicholas Maduro, who is now acting as the head of state, and the opposition leader Enrique Kaprieles. He was already running for the presidential post in 2012, but lost Chavez in the October elections.
