“The protests in Biryulyovo and Bolotnaya have the same motivation”
What is happening now in interethnic relations is very reminiscent of the acute conflict between Russians and people from the Caucasus and Central Asia. But in reality, neither Kondopoga, nor Pugachev, nor the recent Biryulyovo are ethnic conflicts. In fact, in all these outbursts of public indignation, citizens resented the impunity and permissiveness, the preferential employment that migrants enjoy at the expense of indigenous people.
