Denis Volkov, Levada Center: young people get information from social networks
Television is still the main source of information for most Russians, but its audience is gradually decreasing. If ten years ago 94% of Russians received information on TV, today it is 72%. The youngest receive news on TV the least: 42% (among Russians under 25) versus 93% among the oldest (65 and older). For young people, the role of the main source of information today is played not by television, but by social networks.
