FSB: in the third quarter there were 9.7 million trips abroad from Russia
This is twice as much as in the second quarter. RBC analyzed the statistics of the FSB on trips abroad in the third quarter. The five-year record was broken for entry to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Armenia. Among the popular destinations were also Abkhazia, Türkiye, Georgia and Finland. In July-September 2021, the number of departures was 1.2 million less. However, 9.7 million departures is less than before the coronavirus pandemic. In 2019, the FSB recorded 16.1 million trips.
