Journalist Ilya Azar was fined two thousand rubles for a post with the symbols of “Smart Voting”
The Tverskoy District Court fined Ilya Azar, a journalist and municipal deputy of the Moscow district of Khamovniki, 2,000 rubles in the case of displaying extremist symbols (Part 1, Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was announced by his lawyer Leonid Solovyov. The corresponding entry also appeared in the case card . According to the lawyer, the fine was imposed for a post with the Smart Voting symbol, which the journalist published on Facebook in August 2021.
