The Patriot air defense system, damaged in a Russian strike on Kiev on May 16, has been repaired and put back into use, said at a Pentagon briefing. Defense Department spokeswoman Sabrina Singh “One Patriot system was damaged, but it is now repaired, fully restored and operational,” Singh said. On May 16, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian armed forces, using the Kinzhal hypersonic missile, "completely destroyed" the radio station and five Patriot launchers.
