Prosecutor requests 12 years in maximum security prison for scientist Valery Golubkin, 71, over treason charges
The prosecutor has requested 12 years in a maximum security prison for scientist Valery Golubkin, 71, who is accused of treason, according to Pervy Otdel, a human rights project. Golubkin was charged with treason on 12 April 2021. He was arrested and put into the Lefortovo pretrial jail on the same day.
