RBC: Russia again conducted exercises to shut down the Internet in case of threats “from outside”
In Russia, on the night of July 4-5, regular exercises were held to "ensure the stable functioning of the Internet in the event of its shutdown from the outside," RBC reports , citing sources in the telecommunications market. The representative of Roskomnadzor, in a conversation with RBC, called the exercises “successful” and recalled that such events are held once a year, but did not explain what exactly their purpose was.
