In Dagestan, Alikhan Tsakaev, head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' main department for Chechnya, was detained for driving while intoxicated. This was reported by the NIYSO movement, opposition Chechen blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov , as well as Baza and “Caution, News” . According to their version, Tsakaev’s car was stopped by Dagestan traffic police officers at the Gerzelsky Bridge checkpoint on the border with Chechnya.
