Leonid Popov, photo: family archive / “Important Stories” The FSB opened a criminal case against Leonid Popov, a 24-year-old resident of Melitopol diagnosed with “undifferentiated schizophrenia”, on charges of espionage. Alexey Ladukhin, a lawyer for the human rights organization Every Human Being, told Important Stories about this. The editors have at their disposal a response from the FSB, which states that the case against Popov was opened on August 15, 2024.
