Interfax: Russians, when exporting cash rubles from the country with the equivalent of 10 thousand dollars, will be required to disclose the origin of the money
The Russian authorities plan to tighten the rules for the export of cash rubles and gold bars abroad, Interfax writes with reference to the draft presidential decree. According to the agency, from September 1, 2026, individuals will be able to export cash rubles (the equivalent of 10 thousand dollars) to the EAEU countries only through international airports. At the same time, they will have to indicate the source of the funds and how this money will be used.
