An earthquake occurred in the Amur Region, the magnitude of which, according to preliminary data, was 6.2, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences on duty. “Information has not yet come from all stations, maybe 6.3 and 6.4,” the agency’s interlocutor said. According to her, the epicenter of the earthquake was seven kilometers east of the village of Takhtamygda, Skovorodinsky district, 134 kilometers southwest of Tynda.
