United Russia is ready to deprive Gennady Gudkov of immunity
The United Russia faction in the State Duma is ready to deprive Gennady Gudkov, Right-wing Russian deputy, of his immunity from criminal prosecution if the lower house receives a corresponding appeal from the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, ITAR-TASS reports. "If the investigation finds elements of a crime in Gudkov's actions, then the deprivation of his parliamentary immunity will be supported by the faction," Andrei Vorobyov, head of the United Russia Duma, told reporters.
