Russia intends to introduce duties on Moldovan wine and agricultural products
Russia unilaterally imposes duties on Moldovan wine and agricultural products, Interfax reports . The duty will be levied on meat, grain, fruits, vegetables and sugar. The decision to impose duties was made due to the fact that the Moldovan Parliament ratified the Association Agreement with the EU, a source familiar with the situation told the agency. Russia, Moldova and Ukraine, as well as Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan are members of a free trade area (FTA) within the CIS.
