In 2014, the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Vladimir Churov, earned a total of 5.1 million rubles and received an increase in salary, follows from the income report published on the CEC website. In addition, the head of the CEC announced the acquisition in 2014 of the ownership of a summer cottage with an area of 5.5 acres. Compared to last year, Churov's income increased by 1 million rubles, which is explained by an increase in wages in 2014.
