In Russia, wage arrears exceeded four billion rubles
The total wage arrears in Russia as of February 1, 2016 amounted to 4.33 billion rubles, according to the website of Rosstat. Compared to January, wage arrears increased by 760 million rubles (by 21.3%). In most cases (97.1%), the reason for the debt was the lack of funds from employers. The largest wage debt falls on transport - 35%, manufacturing - 29%, construction - 19%, mining - 5%, agriculture, hunting - 4%, scientific research - 3%. As of February 1, 74,000 people had wage arrears.
