The former head of the Yukos security service filed a petition for pardon
The ex-head of the security service of the oil company Yukos, Alexei Pichugin, filed a petition for pardon on May 4, a decision on it has not yet been made. This was reported on the website of the Pichugin Case project with reference to lawyer Ksenia Kostromina. According to her, on May 4, her client applied for a pardon so that Russia would comply with two decisions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), which found that Pichugin was convicted unfairly.
