The city council of Vilnius decided to name the square after the murdered politician Boris Nemtsov in front of the Russian embassy, Aleksey Venediktov, editor-in-chief of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, said in telegrams. According to him, 32 people voted in favor, one opposed, and one abstained. The decision will come into force on May 24, after the mayor's signature, said Vladimir Kara-Murza Jr., deputy chairman of the Open Russia movement, on Twitter.
