Russian chess player Ekaterina Lagno won the World Blitz Championship
In St. Petersburg, the Russian chess player Ekaterina Lahno won the World Blitz Championship. Following the results of 17 rounds, the 29-year-old Russian woman scored 13.5 points. The second and third places in the tournament were taken by Iranian Sarasadat Khademalsharieh (13 points) and Chinese Lei Tingjie (12.5 points), respectively.
