In August 2018, 10 people from Ingushetia were detained in Egypt, the fate of five detainees is still unknown. Magomed Mutsolgov, head of the human rights organization Mashr, told Novaya Gazeta about this. Five detainees, he said, were released. The detention took place, Mutsolgov noted, on the same day, people lived in the same building, but in different apartments. “Nothing is known about the people who were detained, as far as I understand, by the Egyptian special services,” he said.
