Two people were convicted in Estonia of spying for Russia
A court in Estonia has sentenced Denis Metsavas, former officer of the Estonian Defense Forces headquarters, to 15.5 years in prison and his father, Petr Volin, to six years for spying for Russia, reported . Postimees “Metsavas and Volin worked for the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU), collecting and passing on Estonian state secrets, classified official and inside information,” the newspaper says. The court also ordered them to pay about 4,000 euros as a fine.
