Nine Crimean Tatar activists were arrested in Simferopol in connection with the Hizb ut-Tahrir case.
Until May 15, the Kiev District Court of Simferopol arrested nine Crimean Tatar activists on suspicion of having links with Hizb ut-Tahrir, a terrorist organization banned in Russia (Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). Among them are Medjit Abdurakhmanov, Tofig Abdulgaziev, Seitveli Seitnabdiev, Rustem Seitkhalilov, Akim Bekirov, Farhat Bazarov, Server Gaziev, Seyran Murtaza and Erfan Osmanov. Tomorrow, a preventive measure is expected to be chosen for the rest of the detainees.
