The CIA spoke about the use of spy pigeons during the Cold War
The US Central Intelligence Agency has declassified documents that describe the use of animals during the Cold War. It is reported by the BBC. In particular, pigeons were used, among other things, to photograph important objects, in particular, on the territory of the Soviet Union, ravens were used to drop listening devices on window sills, and dolphins participated in important underwater missions. The latter at a later time participated in various demining operations.
