Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social networks were blocked in Azerbaijan to “prevent provocations from Armenia”
The Azerbaijani authorities blocked Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, as well as other instant messengers and video hosting services after the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is reported by the NetBlocks.org service. The restrictions were introduced as a security measure to "prevent large-scale provocations by Armenia" following Azerbaijan's declaration of martial law in the country.
