The trial of the accused of murdering former Chechen field commander Khangoshvili has begun in Germany.
The first hearing in the case of Vadim Krasikov (Sokolov), who is accused of murdering former Chechen field commander Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, was held in the Supreme Court of Berlin last summer. In addition to the murder, Krasikov is also accused of violating the law on weapons, notes BZ. Krasikov's interests are represented by three lawyers, two by appointment, one hired, the correspondent of Novaya Gazeta clarifies. The victim's wife and sister act as co-accused.
