The Russian government allowed regional authorities to independently limit prices for “any important” goods
According to the Russian government decree , regional authorities now have the opportunity to “conclude agreements with manufacturers and retail chains” on stabilizing prices not only for socially important food products, but also “for any other goods important to people.” Previously, only the authorities of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, which came under the control of the Russian Federation during military operations in Ukraine, had this right.
