The case of desecration of Prigozhin’s grave was suspended: the accused went to the Northern Military District
The magistrate court in St. Petersburg suspended the case against Vyacheslav Shvedov, who was accused of desecrating the grave of the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin. This was reported by the head of the press service of the city courts, Daria Lebedeva. According to investigators, it was Shvedov who in the summer of 2024 pasted a poster with an offensive inscription on the monument to Prigozhin at the Prokhorovsky cemetery, and then also took a photo with the poster at the grave.
